Psychic TV to release ‘Kondole’ 2CD+DVD set

Cold Spring announce the release of the Psychic TV release “Kondole / Dead Cat” – a double CD and DVD collection, presented in an 8-panel matt digipak with booklet – you can order this limited gem right now. CD1 features the complete, 48:06 min long version of “Dead Cat”, while CD2 contains 3 tracks: “Thee Whale” which was recorded in 1988 (and is the soundtrack to an unmade 23 minute film called “Kondole (Thee Whale)”, by David Lewis and Andy Crabb) and “Thee Shadow Creatures” which was recorded in San Francisco on 23rd January, 1993. “Dead Cat” was recorded in London in 1989 and is the soundtrack to the film by David Lewis. That film can be found back on the DVD. “Dead Cat” was released in 1989, and shown only at a handful of cinemas that year, including once at the Scala Cinema in London. It was never issued on general release and has only recently been uncovered by David Lewis (writer & director). This package presents the full film, re-authored from the original source. Project Pitchfork returns with new album ‘Akkretion’ – here are the details

“Akkretion” is the title of the newest Project Pitchfork album which will be out in early 2018. The album is the first part of a new trilogy. “Akkretion” will be followed-up by “Fragment” and “Elysium” in the upcoming months. The album will be released as a normal CD, but also as a hardcover 2CD book (which can be ordered right here). The tracks on the bonus CD are “Tree of Life (bonus song)”, “Ascension (remix feat. Sue)”, “And the Sun was blue (remix)”, “Good Night Death (remix)” and “Crossfire (We Are Temporary – remix)”.

Electro Aggression Records (EAR) welcomes the veteran Swiss electro act Sleepwalk to its roster of artists. After 5 years of silence, Sleepwalk return with a double disc to celebrate the band’s 25th anniversary. With “Tempus Vincit Omnia” revisits its old school electro roots resulting in a mix of EBM and dark electro. Bimfest XVI to terrorise Sint-Niklaas on December 15/16 with Blancmange, Implant, Kirlian Camera and many more!

In little more than one week the Belgian Independent Music Festival 2017 edition XVI will kick-off. After last year’s 100% Belgian and 15th anniversary bill, the team behind the fest also went looking abroad again for this year’s line-up. But you’ll get enough homegrown electro terror served, for instance from IMPLANT (with a brand new album) and cult act PARADE GROUND. Also present are NO MORE (D), THE INVINCIBLE SPIRIT (D) and PSYCHE (CAN) next to the rhythmic and industrial act XOTOX from Germany or the Techno / EBM crossover project of the NYC electro producer and performer Oliver Chesler, THE HORRORIST. Swedish EBM act ELM and electro industrial noise combo ALVAR are the two opening acts selected by the Dark Demons Night 2017 audience. Also present will be KIRLIAN CAMERA (IT) and the electro/Industrial pioneers CRASH COURSE IN SCIENCE (US). The main catch of Bimfest 2017 is of course the British Electro combo BLANCMANGE!
