OOMPH! - Best Of english sung album

OOMPH! are set to release an english speaking "Best Of" album due February 26th (for Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and March 1st (all other territories).

After more than 20 years and 10 albums, the trio Dero, Crap and Flux have now produced an English sung record. The Braunschweig / Germany based three-piece re-arranged their greatest hits for this very purpose. As always with OOMPH!, the album is a mixture of various styles, be it metal, EBM or Gothic.

OOMPH!'s latest album, Monster, was released on August 22, 2008, and hit the Media Control Charts at number 8. The band wrote 25 new songs, of which only 13 made it on the album. The band's most successful single from the new album is Labyrinth, released in September 2008, which peaked at number 26 in the Media Control Charts. The remaining tracks were released as B-sides. The first was Sandmann, released in February 2009. Monster was reissued in June 2009 to include Sandmann.
