Behind-the-scene talks with Mari Kattman on new Psy’Aviah album

A few days ago we announced that Psy’Aviah will see its newest album “Lightflare” released early next year. The band, aka Yves Schelpe, has now started posting behind-the-scene talks with the collaborators. The first track discussed is “Lost At Sea”, the opening song of “Lightflare“, featuring Mari Kattman. Meat Beat Manifesto announces brand new studio album after a 7-year hiatus : ‘Impossible Star’ (LP and CD)

The UK electronic outfit Meat Beat Manifesto has announced a new record: “Impossible Star” . “Impossible Star” is to be released on January 19, 2018 via Flexidisc and is available for preorder right here on CD and double vinyl. The album is the first new studio material from the band since 2010’s “Answers Come in Dreams” which consisted of lengthy ambient, glitch, and dubstep-focused pieces, with an attention to texture rather than the raw sampling and breakbeat rhythms seen on many of the group’s previous releases. “AmeriKKKant”, industrial-metal pioneers Ministry’s 14th album, will be released on March 9, 2018 for the first time via Nuclear Blast Records. The album will include guest appearances from Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory, former N.W.A. member Arabian Prince, DJ Swamp and Lord of the Cello. It contains 9 songs in total of which 3 of them are longer than 8 minutes! MZ.412 collaborates with Trepaneringsritualen for live ‘Post Industriale / Rituals 2LP 2015 E.V.’ 2LP vinyl

Old Europa Cafe has announced a brand new vinyl by MZ.412 and Trepaneringsritualen. Out by early 2018 (you can order this very limited item right here) the release offers a live recording of the show the duo performed on October 31 2015 at Old Europa Cafe’s label festival “X Congresso Post Industriale” at the Club Kindergarten in Bologna, Italy. The recordings are being released on solid and heavy vinyl in a gatefold-cover plus poster artwork packaging by Thomas Eklund / TxRxP. The mastering was executed by Henrik Nordvargr Björkk/ Nordvargr. Each vinyl side includes one long and exclusive “Akt” (Ritual) by the 2 projects. Psychic TV to release ‘Kondole’ 2CD+DVD set

Cold Spring announce the release of the Psychic TV release “Kondole / Dead Cat” – a double CD and DVD collection, presented in an 8-panel matt digipak with booklet – you can order this limited gem right now. CD1 features the complete, 48:06 min long version of “Dead Cat”, while CD2 contains 3 tracks: “Thee Whale” which was recorded in 1988 (and is the soundtrack to an unmade 23 minute film called “Kondole (Thee Whale)”, by David Lewis and Andy Crabb) and “Thee Shadow Creatures” which was recorded in San Francisco on 23rd January, 1993. “Dead Cat” was recorded in London in 1989 and is the soundtrack to the film by David Lewis. That film can be found back on the DVD. “Dead Cat” was released in 1989, and shown only at a handful of cinemas that year, including once at the Scala Cinema in London. It was never issued on general release and has only recently been uncovered by David Lewis (writer & director). This package presents the full film, re-authored from the original source.
