We’ve got good and bad news from Dr. Naghavi’s audio laboratory: which one would you like to hear first? OK, let’s start with the bad news, so we can put that behind us: most people will probably not be happy about Steve Naghavi’s decision to postpone the cover EP planned for release on December 7th, 2007 to February 1st, 2008 … especially since songs like “Never Let Me Down Again” or “Der Mussolini” had already stirred up some excitement. But you can believe us that Steve had good reasons for his decision. Really. So, stop moaning and wait for the good news.

OK, here the good news: the euphoric first reactions of the fans on the announcement of “Bodypop 1 ½” spawned an avalanche of discussions on the choice of tracks… most of them containing the words “why” and “not.” During the recording, more and more ideas for tracks that should have been on the CD were starting to rack Steve’s brain. It became more and more clear: an EP is not enough! Thus, let’s make a long story short: Naghavi andCo. are raising the odds! You will surely not be complaining about getting more for your money, won’t you? (C’mon… you don’t have to be modest just now!) You will now get the double load of And One Bodypop Cover Power … and the by far most popular Electro band in Europe will return to the studio to conjure up a full album of at least 12 naghavified anthems. Thus, “Bodypop 1 ½” will become more than any rivalling act would have prayed for. A fulllength superdupercoverlover album made in Germany! So, don’t tell us that this will not be worth waiting a few weeks more. Huh? We thought so…
