***Client – Lights Go Out***

The most alluring trio in Electro Pop returns with a new single. “Lights Go Out” is a sexy electronic dark-melodic Glam-Disco-track. Ever since Elvis Presley’s lascivious hip swing, Pop music and sex have been a somewhat inseparable pair. But, in the same way that a tight costume or cocktail dress will often have more erotic appeal than an outfit that reveals too much, the trio manages to draw an immense power of impact from combining the seemingly opposing forces of a sleazy rock’n’roll attitude with a cold “New Wave”-chic. Hence, it is no contradiction for Client A, B and E to sport the chilling image of a dominatrix and, at the same time, to seek a warm and friendly correspondence with their fans through their Myspace page … just as their music will sneak into the listener’s heart by being both electronic, cold and somewhat remote and sincerely emotional. Client are way too intelligent to come blandly crashing through the front door… they always manage to keep the delicate balance between being blatantly up front and very subtle, rendering themselves a highly attractive focal point for people of both sexes. Thus, “Lights Go Out” becomes a striking appetizer for the group’s third album, which is scheduled for release in the near future. The single contains the regular version of the title track, as well as remixes by Basteroid, Oliver Koletzki & Florian Meindl, Spetsnaz and UnterArt, each one offering an unique perspective from the vast realms of modern electronic music. “Satisfaction guaranteed” – in regard to Client, this hollow catch phrase spawned by a dehumanized service society actually hits the nail right on the head. Released on Out Of Line and available December 11th, 2006.
